About Us

Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Online (Alzonline) is a telehealth project sponsored by the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the University of Florida (UF) Center for Telehealth. We are dedicated to providing caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's and other memory problems a place where they can participate in online classes, find support, and find the latest information on caregiving.

AlzOnline began providing online caregiver support in Fall, 2000, beginning with live interactive classes to help caregivers learn methods of managing stress. We also provided information & referral to local community resources. Since that time, we have expanded our classes and written material to cover other areas associated with caregiving. AlzOnline believes that throughout a caregiver's journey, there will be questions related to the many aspects of caring for a loved one. Our goal is to help caregivers meet these challenges and improve their quality of life by offering quality caregiver education, information, and support.
