This series of classes is presented by the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Florida. The classes are designed to help caregivers handle the techniques of everyday tasks.
Strategies for Personal Care Activities
Each class takes a single task and covers the common challenges associated with caring for a person with dementia, and provides options such as new techniques and assistive devices to ease the task. Advice on how to increase safety and avoid hazards is also included.
